Hydro crews are making significant progress in restoring electricity to homes and businesses in and around Kenora.
Monday, over 1,200 Hydro One customers had their power restored.
Spokesperson Nancy Clark says they hope to have everyone back on-line by Wednesday night at the latest.
There are still about 300 customers without power, five days after a snow storm knocked out electricity to more than 9,000 Hydro One customers in northwestern Ontario.
Clark says they have been focusing on areas with the largest number of homes.
She notes they have crews from across northwestern Ontario working on the restoration effort.
