36 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 36 new cases of COVID-19.

20 are in the Kenora Health Hub, seven in the Dryden Hub, four in the Red Lake Hub, three in the Fort Frances Hub and one each in the Emo and Sioux Lookout Hubs.

With the new positive test results, this brings the active count in the region up to 132, compared to 115 yesterday and six people are still hospitalized for COVID-19 in the region.

Active cases by Health Hub:

Kenora Hub – 68

Dryden Hub – 23

Red Lake Hub – 13

Sioux Lookout – 11

Fort Frances – 11

Emo – 4

Rainy River – 2

Atikokan – 0

The Thunder Bay District reports 20 new cases bringing the active case count to 70.

As for the province, there are 5,790 new cases in Ontario.
