$577,000+ Raised At Relay For Life In Northwest

Another successful year for the Relay for Life across northwestern Ontario.
Eight community events were held for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Northwest Regional Manager Maria Cabral says over $577,000 was raised.
She notes more money continues to come in and they also have two fall fundraisers planned in Marathon and Atikokan.
Cabral says all money raised goes to cancer research.
She’s thanking the public, the volunteers and sponsors for their work in putting on an “incredible event.”
