Kenora MP Plans On Posting Expense Claims

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says he will be posting his expense claims on-line this Fall.
Rickford says the recent spending scandal for Senators shows that the system needs to be fixed.
Rickford says there’s a lack of clarity, especially for Senators.
He notes everyone on Parliament Hill must be held accountable.
Rickford stresses he wants people to have a clear understanding on how their tax dollars are being spent.
He notes the Conservative government handled the Senate spending scandal correctly.
Rickford stresses the Conservative government doesn’t tolerate “double or triple dipping.”
Rickford admits the last part of the spring session of Parliament was spent on attacking the government on the expenses of Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin.
He adds the Conservatives would still like to make the senate an elected body, rather than an appointed one.
