61-Year-Old Woman Charged for Striking an Officer

A Poplar Hill woman faces charges following an alleged assault near Perrault Falls.
Ear Falls OPP were notified of an intoxicated woman running into the bush and in an out of traffic on Highway 105.
For her own safety, Police arrested the woman for public intoxication.
The accused became aggressive and Police say she struck and assaulted an officer.
OPP say 61-year-old Annette Owen has been charged with assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest.
