Over 1 million dollars in Provincial Funding is going to
be divied up between the 8 school boards in the Thunder
Bay District.
The money is part of a joint proposal aimed at keeping
at-risk students interested, and enorlled in school.
Dr. Allan Craig is the Director of Education at the
Kenora Catholic School Board and says the St. Thomas
Aquinas share is just under the 100-thousand dollars.

The alternative education program will allow students
who have dropped out, to return to school and recover
their credits.
The program will start at St. Thomas Aquinas in the
second term this February.
