The Fort Frances Lakers are one win away from a third straight SIJHL championship.
A.J. Rupert scored 50 seconds into overtime as the Fort Frances Lakers outlasted the Dryden GM Ice Fogs 6-5 in a wild and crazy back and forth game.
Matt Houston gave the Ice Dogs an early 2-0 lead with his first two goals of the playoffs.
Fort would reel off three straight goals to start the second before Ben Smaha tied the game.
Both teams traded goals in the third with Derek McPhail scoring both including the winner.
