After the release of Off Campus, another adaptation, Every Year After, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
After its release on June 10, it has already climbed to the No. 1 spot in Canada.
This eight-episode romance series adapts Canadian author Carley Fortune’s novel, Every Summer After. The novel remained on the New York Times Bestseller list for 16 consecutive weeks, selling over one million copies.
According to Amazon Prime Video, this show is set in a “quintessential lake town,” Barry’s Bay. It’s a “romantic, nostalgic story of first loves and the people and choices that mark us forever.” “Percy” Fraser, short for Persephone, returns to Barry’s Bay after tragedy strikes, reuniting with her first love, Sam.
Sadie Soverall (Fate: The Winx Saga and Saltburn) plays Percy, and Matt Cornett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) plays Sam in the series. You’ll also meet other cast members: Aurora Perrineau (KAOS), Abigail Cowen (Fate: The Winx Saga), Joseph Chiu (Fear Street: Prom Queen), Michael Bradway (Marked Men) and Elisha Cuthbert (Girl Next Door).
