A Reminder To Keep An Eye On Your Camp Fires

The Kenora fire department responded to a brush fire in the Minto area near the shore of Rabbit Lake yesterday afternoon.
Fire Chief Warren Brinkman says a campfire was just left unattended and could have been prevented.
The Ministry of Natural Resources were able to get a line around the fire and stop the blaze before it got any further.
Brinkman says they had the fire under control within a hour of receiving the call.
