Northern Policy Institute Announces New President

The Northern Policy Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of their founding President and CEO, Charles Cirtwill.
Cirtwill has lived in Halifax for the last 12-years, and says while he is still living there for the time being, he plans on starting work right away and will hopefully be working out of his Thunder Bay headquarters in September.
He says they are working with the board to get things up and running, will be posting some staffing positions, finalizing funding from the province and commissioning a couple of papers.
The purpose of the Institute is to develop and promote proactive, evidence based and purpose driven policy options that deep understanding about the unique challenges and opportunities of Northern Ontario in addition to advancing the sustainable development and long-term economic prosperity of the North.
