It was an unusual month of October weather wise in the Dryden area according to Environment Canada.
Forecaster Brian Smith says it was the warmest October since 2000 with the mercury set at 5.8 degrees compared to an average of 4.5.
Meanwhile, Smith says it was the wettest October since 1998 with 103mm of rainfall recorded almost double the average.
Smith says the November forecast calls for near normal precipitation and milder conditions.
He notes we may see more snow then usual.
