The Dryden Fire Service is warning local residents to not leave burning candles unattended.
Officials say that is the likely cause of a fire at a Kerney Hill Court home late Sunday night.
The Fire Service says the blaze started near the front door outside the home and spread to the roof.
It took 90 minutes for crews to extinguish the flames.
Officials say there was substantial damage however it could be time before an estimate is known.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
