The Abitibi-Bowater mill in Fort Frances is safe, at least for now.
The company announced the closure of three mills, including their Thunder Bay operation, plus other restructuring moves.

Abitibi-Bowater is also selling 500 million dollars in assets, and wants to sit down with labour groups to reduce costs.
