Abitibi Kenora Mill Looking at Co-Generation

Abitibi-Consolidated is in the process of looking for a third party
to finance a Co-Generation Plant for its Kenora operation.
The good news story comes a day before the Province announces steps
to help the forest sector.
Company Spokesperson Denis LeClerc says they now need to figure out
how the mill will be run during the transition.
He says they will speak with Federal Government officials this week
to discuss whether the Co-Generation Plant is eligible for green energy
funding.
