Abottoir Plans Moving Forward

The Province is helping farmers in the Rainy-River District determine
the viability of a new regional Abattoir.
The Government has committed $30,000 toward the development
of a business plan for the Abattoir.
The plan will investigate markets for proposed products, building
location, design, engineering and an environmental assessment.
Farmers have been calling for the construction of an Abattoir to help
livestock producers in the area.
