Accused Asks for Investigation

The grandfather charged with criminal negligence in the deaths of twin baby girls wants an independent public inquiry called to look into their deaths.
Jerome Kerrigan says he wont sleep peacefully until he knows why the 3-month-old girls died.
The girls died a week ago in Thunder Bay, while they were being driven from Slave Lake, Alberta to Kerrigans home in Grand Bend.
He had been awarded custody a few days earlier.
He says they had a bad cough and a rattle in their chest, so he took them to a clinic where a doctor said they had a viral infection.
