Additional Census Information for Kenora Riding

The population in the Kenora Riding has increased by about 4% in the
past 5-years.
Figures released in the National Census this week show that there are
now over 64,000 people living in the Riding.
The census information is valuable because its the basis behind government grants and program spending.
An increase in the number of people living in aboriginal communities
and immigration are the main reasons behind the hike.
