The AbitibiBowater sawmill in Thunder Bay is getting a face-lift.
The company is investing $8-million to upgrade the facility.
The upgrade will mean 150-new jobs at the sawmill and in the woodlands division.
Spokesperson Pierre Choquette says the work will begin almost immediately, with a completion date set for January 2013.
Choquette says the upgrades are being made possible as the result of the Province’s wood allocation to the Company.
