Advanced Polling Results

There’s been a 50% increase in the number of people in the Kenora Riding who have cast votes in the advance polls.
The Polls were held last Friday, Saturday and Monday and all told, just over 2,100 people cast ballots.
Gerry Oulette is the Returning Officer and says in the last Federal Election back in 2000, just over 1,400 people voted in the advance polls.
Oulette suggests the timing of the election means a number of people will likely be out of town on holiday’s and they wanted to vote early.
