Dryden Man Receives Jail Term

A Dryden man has been hit with a Provincial Jail term for his part in the knife point robbery of a Thunder Bay cab driver over a year and a half ago.
22-year-old Derek Alberts and 2 other City men arrived in Thunder Bay by bus on November 20, 2002 with no money or place to stay.
The trio called a taxi and one of them held a knife to the driver’s throat while another took $145 from the cab.
Darcy Drouin and Christopher Chief have already been sentenced for their part in the crime.
