A group of 8-Northwestern Ontario First Nations are joining forces.
They’ve signed an agreement to work towards providing affordable electrcity in their communities.
Brian Davey of the Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund says it gives them extra clout and a stronger political voice.
Davey says the major priority is to deal with a fuel shortage and improving the quality of life on Northern First Nations.
The agreement was signed in Thunder Bay today. (Wednesday)
