Assembly Of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde is showing support for the Green Party’s promises for aboriginal people.
Bellegarde says the platform is consistent with their desire for First Nations becoming part of the decision-making process in Ottawa.
Green Leader Elizabeth May released her platform earlier this week, outlining a number of commitments, including removing a cap on education funding and repealing the Indian Act.
