North Caribou Lake Police has charged a resident in relation to a stabbing incident in that community.
Police say they received a call on October 6th near midnight at a location on Airport Road.
Officers say the 20 year old male victim was unconscious with multiple stab wounds and was transported to the Nursing Station.
Police then say the victim was then transferred to Sudbury Hospital where he is now in stable condition.
North Caribou Lake Police say after investigations, 35 year old Erwin Meekis has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.
Meekis will appear in bail court on Friday, October 20th.
