Grassy Narrows First Nation is helping shape its own future.
The First Nation and the Provincial Government recently signed an agreement in regards to traditional land use territory in the Whiskey Jack Forest.
Off reserve band members shared their thoughts on how natural resources should be managed and used.
Grassy members were also asked to highlight their traditional territory on a map.
The first nation’s traditional area can be between 75,000 to 115-thousand hectares in size.
