All Buses Running; Wind Chill Warning In Effect

Despite the cold conditions, most school buses in the area are running.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium says bus operators have been checking their vehicles over the two week Christmas break due to the intense cold.
Because the region is under a wind chill advisory, parents are being urged to bundle up their children as they wait for their bus.
The Consortium is warning of possible delays.
Several buses weren’t able to start this morning and have have been cancelled.
Dryden: Hutchison DR93, Hutchison DR1, Hutchison DR 30, Hutchison VB 29.
Red Lake: Hutchison RL35, Hutchison RL6
Buses aren’t running in Winnipeg and Fort Frances.
All roads and highways in the area are also open, however motorists are urged to use extreme caution due to slippery conditions.
A wind chill warning remains in effect across northwestern Ontario.
The temperature is expected to stay around minus 45 with the wind chill.
It’s not expected to warm up until Friday.
