Conservative Candidate Greg Rickford says the Government has met its targets with respect to opening schools.
Rickford says they have had to deal with emergency construction of schools and have committed to aboriginal programs at schools.
Liberal Incumbent Roger Valley says the new government needs to bring back the Kelowna accord.
Valley says it’s going to take another 4-years to restore funding to Liberal levels.
Green Party Candidate Jo Jo Holiday agrees with Valley, saying the answer lies in the scrapped Kelowna accord.
NDP candidate Tania Cameron says the Government needs to consult with First Nations about where schools should be built.
Low income housing was also discussed at length.

Incumbent Liberal MP Roger Valley says we need a national housing strategy.
