Allan Edmund Raslask, born in Kenora on August 8, 1930, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2016 in the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Allan grew up and attended school in Kenora. He worked for Ontario Hydro for 38 years and was a Past Master of the Golden Star Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Dryden Volunteer Fire Department and ambulance driver for many years. He enjoyed wood working, playing cards, golf, and his daily coffee with his friends.
Survived by his wife Jeanette, son Russell (Anne), daughter Diane (Bob), step son Gary (Kelly), step daughter Wendy (Bruce), ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one sister in Kenora, sisters in law Evelyn, Norma, Addie, and Lillian, son in law Jack, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, one sister, one brother, his first wife Shirley, and step daughter Carol.
A Memorial Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Allan Raslask will be held Tuesday, March 29th at 11:00 a.m. in First United Church with Rev. Erin McIntyre Garrick officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in the Dryden Cemetery following the service.
