A Tyler Lindstrom goal 4:26 into overtime was the difference as the Minnesota Iron Rangers took Game 1 of their Quarter-Final with the Miners 3-2 last night in Ear Falls.
Ryker Moreau and Brandon Schaber scored for English River.
It was a tight checking affair as the Miners outshot Minnesota 29-28.
Reid Kilburn suffered the loss.
