Smiling for the camera has cost a Fort Frances hunter $1,200.
Court heard that James Carlson was found in the Fort Frances District standing beside a freshly-killed deer without a game seal attached.
Carlson told Conservation officers that he couldn’t attach his seal to the animal because he was allergic to deer hide.
A quick check of his camera and officers found 3-photos of Carlson wearing gloves and posing with the deer and antlers.
He was fined for illegal deer hunting.
