Hockey fever is starting to grip the community as Dryden prepares to host the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Everything gets going on Saturday with the Ice Dogs Alumni game and Arena dance.
Shawna Sveinson was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday and she says more than 40-former players will be taking part.
Sveinson says this is a community celebration and a great way to kick-off the Dudley.
She notes it’s an opportunity to get out and check out some good hockey and see some of your favourite players.
Sveinson stresses it’s a huge deal to have these players return and help the organization celebrate hosting the Central Canadian Junior hockey championship.
The game starts at 4:00pm, while the Arena dance begins at 8:00pm.
