A 60 year old american man is dead following a boating mishap
north of Kenora.
The O.P.P. say they were called out to Scenic Lake on Monday
after a resident of Naperville, Illinois died while fishing with his son.
Police say the two men were in a 14 foot boat in rough water when they were thrown into the water.
Despite efforts by his son to pull his father to shore, William Louis lost consciousness and died.
Neither man was wearing a life-jacket at the time.
A post-mortem exam was conducted earlier this week at Lake fo the Woods District Hospital and confirmed the cause of death was drowning.
