American Hunters Fined For Incident In Red Lake

A pair of American hunters have been slapped with a fine of just over $2,700 for shooting a moose from a motorboat.

The incident happened last October on Robert Lake, just north of Red Lake.

The men were caught after conservation officers conducted an aerial patrol of the area.

Court heard a cow moose was shot from a motorboat.

Hunting regulations prohibit the discharging of a firearm from a vehicle or a vessel.
