Maxime Bernier was the candidate of choice for most Conservatives in northwestern Ontario.
The Quebec MP received the most support in the ridings of Kenora and Thunder Bay-Superior North in all 13 rounds of voting on the weekend.
Bernier was the only candidate to visit the Kenora riding during the leadership nomination campaign.
The eventual winner, Andrew Scheer, did receive the most support in Thunder Bay-Rainy River, however most of the votes came after other candidates were dropped from the ballot in the late rounds.
