Angler Lies in Order to Fish in Northwestern Ont.

An American man has been fined $5,000 for several offences during a fishing trip on Lac Seul near Ear Falls.
The man claimed he was an Ontario resident and even produced an Ontario Outdoors Card.
However, Conservation officers learned the man never lived in this Province and had been posing as an Ontario resident since 1993.
Wojciech Rzepka of Park Ridge, Illinois has been convicted of 3-counts of possessing a void fishing licence, angling without a licence and making a false statement.
