Anglers Caught With 40 Walleye Over Legal Limit

Four Indiana anglers are $10,000 lighter in the pocket-book for overfishing in the Red Lake area.
The four were staying at Nungesser Lake Lodge this past summer, when they met up with an Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officer.
It was determined the fishermen had 50 fish in their possession at the lodge in a refrigerator and a freezer.
That was 40 fish over their legal limit.
Each angler was fined $2,500 and forfeited their fishing gear to the crown.
