Announcement Pending

The Minister of Northern Development and Mines is being coy about
plans for a seperate energy rate for the Region.
Rick Bartolucci toured the Region last week and confirmed that an
announcement is pending.
Bartolucci says the Province has been consulting its industry
partners on the issue first.
Many groups in Northwestern Ontario say the energy plan is vital so
more jobs are not lost in the forest industry.
