Another House Fire in Dryden

An improperly installed chimney has been identified as the cause of a
fire at the Green Acres Mobile Home Park Tuesday morning.
The Dryden Fire Service says the blaze started in an old chimney and
quickly spread to the roof and ceiling tiles.
The modular home sustained heavy damage however is still livable and
the lone occupant was not injured.
Fire officials have responded to 3 fires this month and a dirty or
faulty chimney was the cause on all three occassions.
