City Ready to Host Elite Walleye Tournament

It truely is the big one as the City of Dryden will be the centre of attention for 3-days in July.
Business leaders, anglers, and the public were briefed on the Professional Walleye Trail Tournament Tuesday night.
Chamber of Commerce Chair Bill McKinstry says the event will showcase the area’s fishing opportunities to some of the top anglers in the world.
The 2-year contract to host the event includes a $192,000
media deal to market Dryden across North America and will attract 120-professional and amateur anglers as well as roughly 1,000 spectators.
The Tournament is also expected to inject 1.4-million dollars into the local economy over 2 years.
