Another Level of Government?

Some municipal leaders in the region fear that creating an Area Services Board from the existing Kenora District Services Board would mean another level of government.
Dryden Mayor Sid Wintle says municipalities ought to take a serious look at the big picture before making such a move.
The issue is being pushed by the District of Kenora Unincorporated Ratepayers Association.
The association claims that almost 50 percent of people in unincorporated areas are not presently paying for services they receive.
