Another Life for Idled Fort William Mill?

A potential buyer has been found to possibly re-open the Mission Island Mill in Fort William.
The plant would produce a corrugated paper product instead of newsprint
and employee 80-people instead of the 200-that worked at the Abitibi-Bowater
operation.
The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union says the next step
is to secure a collective agreement with the purchasing and note a deal could be reached as early as next week.
The new company would be called Superior Packaging Limited.
