The Bruce Montague trial continues to move along slowly
at the Kenora Court House.
Wednesday morning, another investigator from the
Northern Forensics Laboratory in Sault Ste. Marie was put
on the witness stand.
J.P. Menard testified that he tested a number of the
weapons seized from the Montagues home back in September
2004.
He says several of the firearms had been altered, and in
one case, a hole had been drilled through the serial
number of a rifle.
In another instance, a silencer had been manufactured
for a 22 caliber pistol.
Its expected the trial will stretch into next week.
