The Federal Government has quietly introduced a bill that will limit
pilots ability to land at Airports in inclement weather.
That has drawn the ire of Local officials in the Airline industry.
Kevin Beddome is the Chief Pilot for Bearskin Airlines and says he
doesn’t understand the Feds move.

New technology and lighting would have to be installed at Regional
Airports and in Aircrafts to help in the landing process.
Dryden Airport Manager George Friesen says the measure will have a
lasting negative impact, both locally and nationally.
