Area Bridges Badly in Need of Repair

The Ministry of Transportation has just carried out an inspection of modular bridges in Northwestern Ontario and a number will need to be repaired or replaced.
Spokesperson Brian Snell says load restrictions are being imposed as a result of the poor shape of the bridges.
Dryden area bridges affected include Moose Creek, Lower Falls and Hutchison Creek.
Three bridges on the Pickle Lake Road will have to be replaced altogether starting in 2009.
Another bridge impacted is the English River structure near Ear Falls.
