The owner of a Vermilion Bay tourist camp has been fined $1,000 for depositing material on Crown Land without a permit.
Between March 2002 and October 2003, truck-loads of sand and gravel were deposited on Crown land next to the camp in an effort to improve the resorts boat storage area and expand the septic field.
Conservation Officers investigated the offence and laid charges.
Robert Wisneski pleaded guilty under the Public Lands Act on May 20th.
