The Cloverbelt Farmers Market is looking to plant the seed this Summer in hopes of bringing new life into the struggling Agriculture Industry.
President Ron Rhyner says the first step is hosting monthly Farmers Markets at the Community Garden in Dryden.
Rhyner says he believes downtown businesses will benefit as a result.
He adds he would like to see it become an annual event like it is in Thunder Bay, Kenora or Winnipeg.
Rhyner adds they hope to hire a youth intern to identify local producers and their products, support vendors and investigate long term options for the local industry.
Rhyner believes the Agriculture industry can rebound in this Region.
