The City of Dryden has formed a partnership with Wabigoon Lake Ojibway
Nation, Eagle Lake First Nation and Confederation College for the purpose
of economic diversification.
Dryden Economic Development Officer Vicki Kurz says all of the parties
have signed a memorandum of agreement.

Kurz says the goal is to develop a Northern Forest First Nation
Innovation Centre focusing on value-added products.
The group is looking at acquiring the Weyerhaeuser Learning Centre,
however no deal has been reached.
