Area Support Group Gets Thousands in Funding

A Kenora and Dryden-based victim support group is getting $15,000 funding to host two symposiums on victim awareness.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford has announced funding for Sunset Area Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Service.
With victim’s consent, emergency services call on Sunset Area VCARS to send trained volunteers to provide short-term assistance and referral’s for long-term assistance.
