Restricted Fire Zone Now in Place

No more roasting marshmallows by the campfire.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has declared a Restricted Fire Zone in much of Northwestern Ontario to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires.
Fire information officer Debbie MacLean says the restriction was needed.
Marathon, Terrace Bay, Nipigon and North are not within the restricted zone.
There is no end-date on the restriction as of right now.
