Arnold Gardner Addresses Mining Conference

Mining and exploration companies are being asked to work with area First Nations, instead of blindly going ahead and staking their claims.
That was one message delivered at a mining workshop in Kenora Wednesday.
Grand Chief of Treaty 3 Arnold Gardner says they have already developed a resource law which lays out how they would like to deal with mining and forest companies.
Gardner says demonstrations and blockades will be avoided if mining companies abide by the law.
