The leaders of all 28 first nations in Grand Council
Treaty 3 will be discussing the Big Trout Lake mining
dispute on Tuesday.
The meeting will be held in Thunder Bay, with Treaty
Three holding a joint strategy meeting with the leaders
from the Nishinawbe Aski Nation.
Grand Chief Arnold Gardner says they want to send a
united message of support to the Provincial Government.

were recently jailed for protesting a mining site on their
traditional land use territory.
